south african youth foundation (sayf) is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation founded with the sole purpose of creating and supporting the enabling conditions under which young people can act on their own behalf, and on their own terms, and thus reassert a sense of hope for the future of our country. sayf strives to minimize the number of unemployed youth by empowering them through access to bursaries, industrial skills and enterprise training. south african youth foundation’s guiding vision is the belief that, with support, the youth can be empowered to make a positive change in their lives and their respective communities. over time, sayf will create a learning environment that will be an invaluable resource to young people, aspiring mentors and the community at large. we will strive to realize our dream of growing beyond the national and african borders and have a positive global economic impact.
