our mission - the mission of the south carolina order of police political fund is to support and advance important political issues that affect police officers in the state of south carolina. the political fund will focus on legislative and political advocacy; recognize elected officials and political leaders; and engage voters at all levels to support the fop’s mission and political causes. sc fop political fund was incorporated to support political issues and activities of scfop, it’s 19 lodges statewide and part of nearly 365,000 members nationwide - active and retired - in local law enforcement. we strive to: * implement a minimum salary standard statewide that gets us closer to a livable wage earlier in the career. * allow officers who have reached retirement age and also hold valuable experience the opportunity to retire and return to work without a salary cap. * fully fund the police academy with money not based on the number of tickets written, but in actual need. * fully fu
