Stonewall Democrats of New York City

the stonewall democratic club of new york city was founded in 1986 as the first and only citywide lgbt democratic organization in new york city. we continue to advocate for legislation that guarantees equality and fairness for the lgbt community in nyc, representing the political ideas, ideals, concerns, and priorities of the lgbt community of new york city and new york state. the organization achieves these goals by supporting well qualified candidates for local, state, and national office, and by supporting and lobbying for our civil rights, legislative agenda, healthcare, information and education, and for funding for our institutions and organizations. meetings are the 4th wednesday of every month at 8pm. unless otherwise specified, or for special events, club meetings are usually at the lgbt community center, 208 west thirteenth street between seventh and greenwich avenues
