suomen elektronisen urheilun liitto (seul ry) toimii suomalaisen kilpapeliurheilun keskusjärjestönä, tehtävänään kehittää ja tuoda esiin elektronista urheilua sekä jäsenistönsä toimintaa. liitto perustettiin joulukuussa 2010 elektronisen urheilun suosion kasvun luotua tarve yhteiselle, kilpapelaamisen kattojärjestönä toimivalle elimelle. liitto pyrkii toimillaan nostamaan elektronisen urheilun tunnettuutta ja arvostettavuutta harrastuksena. liitto toimii yhteistyössä monien eri valtakunnallisten järjestöjen, kuten verke, ehyt ry ja kavi (kansallinen audiovisuaalinen instituutti), kanssa pyrkien tuomaan esille positiivista kuvaa ja ilmiöitä pelaamisesta. lisäksi seul ry on kansainvälisen elekronisen urheilun liitto iesf:n (international esports federationissa) jäsen, ja siten edustaa lajiliittoa suomessa. seul ry toimii myös opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön nuorisotyötä tekevien järjestöjen vuosiavustuksen piirissä.
