Social Innovation in Health Initiative

the social innovation in health initiative is an international collaboration between various partners. the bertha centre for social innovation and entrepreneurship at the university of cape town and the skoll centre for social entrepreneurship at oxford university lead the implementation of this initiative and tdr, the special programme for research and training in tropical diseases, hosted at the world health organization in geneva, provides technical and financial support. together, we are searching for innovative healthcare delivery solutions that have improved the lives of those affected by neglected tropical diseases (ntds), malaria and tuberculosis across the global south. globally, over 3 billion people are affected by neglected tropical diseases, tuberculosis and malaria. as overwhelming as this seems, we believe there is an abundance of grass roots solutions that have successfully been implemented by passionate change-makers across africa, asia and south america. through this
