society of mechanical engineers (sme) provides much needed exposure to the mechanical engineering students about the real life engineering problems by: organizing national level symposium arranging gust lectures & seminars of specific interest arranging industrial visits, engaging students with workshops, skill building exercises and helping them in an all-round profile development and enabling them to be future ready engineers. in addition to all the above activities, the society encourages students to participate in various technical programs conducted by other institutions. our flagship event - a national level technical symposium titled 'ignition' where students from all over the country participate in various events like paper presentations, quiz, exhibitions and various other technical & non technical competitions.
