snov is the stichting emergency shelter for refugees nijmegen. it is classified as a public benefit institution (anbi) and it provides the bed-bath-bread facility for homeless undocumented refugees in nijmegen. after the european court ruled in 2014 that the netherlands had to develop an active policy for undocumented and homeless refugees in the country, snov was founded in 2015. snov’s motto is ‘no people on the streets’. therefore, our mission is to provide shelter, proper food, hygiene and an overall sense of security for undocumented people in nijmegen which is traditionally known as bbb (bed, bad, brood). do you wish to get involved and provide your assistance as a volunteer or intern? snov welcomes everyone that would like to contribute their time and skills to help support the residents and the organisation. if you would like to apply for an internship or if you would like to volunteer at snov, please contact , marten hoogsteder, the coordinator of snov, via email: snov.b
