soche stands for solutions for clean and healthy environment. built on the principles of passion, commitment and love for conserving both handicrafts and environment, it is a not-for-profit social enterprise aimed at social upliftment of the artisans along with environment conservation. the mission of soche till 2035 is: • enable greenhouse gas savings to the tune of 0.5 million tonnes (of co2e) • alternate livelihood generation and/ or income enhancement of 10 million people dependent on natural resources directly or indirectly • influence at least 10 million lives in urban and rural areas for sustainable living, enabling behavior change for a cleaner planet our flagship initiative, project maati milaap (union with the earth), is aimed at mainstreaming forgotten artisans, uplifting them out of poverty while making their craft environmentally friendly with modern techniques. the pilot is running in delhi where soche is working with the forgotten potters in delhi making their kilns envi
