south oakland citizens for the homeless serves our neighbors in greatest need through our two programs welcome inn day center and welcome home. welcome inn day center has been in operation since 2003 and is the only low-barrier day-center in south oakland county. welcome inn and its partners offer professional and volunteer support services that will address the emergent needs of its community’s homeless and help guide them towards independent living. during the coldest weeks of the year (mid-december-early march) we are opened monday-friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. during our off season, we're open on tuesdays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. welcome home equips recently housed guests to succeed and thrive in their new homes.
