social innovation trust is a new organisation dedicated to building the social enterprise capacity of otago/ southland. we catalyse and support new social ventures and run community-building events that harness the idealism and passion of southerners for solving major social problems. our missions: - foster a more unified and highly skilled social enterprise sector - catalyse and incubate new ventures - build a community of donors who believe in and invest in social enterprise in otago/ southland increasing the proportion of new zealanders who know and believe they can make change, and do at all levels of society is what sits behind a lot of our work. beyond government and business, we need civil society to innovate and provide solutions for our collective future. we need more people to play a role in delivering change if we are to live in a new zealand that is able to rapidly and effectively solve social problems.
