it all started when we were phd researchers. we learned from our research that in the netherlands, 18.3% of children experience at least one mental disorder such as anxiety, depression, conduct disorder with symptoms such as aggression; and, that having persistent difficulties with emotions and social interactions may contribute to poor mental health in the long term... so we thought... “can we take a preventive approach?” “can we empower children to have less challenging social and emotional interactions?" yes, we can! so we decided to start social lab. as social lab, we offer a safe and inclusive setting for children to improve their social-emotional skills. they learn while playing and experimenting! come join one of our online workshops!
