Social Media Superstar

mariah holds a masters degree in journalism & communications from the university of new south wales (sydney, australia) and a bachelors of music from the university of michigan, ann arbor. she spent 2 years as social media manager for a web design agency in sydney, where she built a social media department from scratch and grew it to become one of the company's core areas of expertise. she now works in san diego, california, and is focusing on building her social media business as well as teaching music lessons (piano). mariah has spoken at numerous events, including the atc social media conference, where she led an unconference session on search and social, and the hr summit 2011 (sydney, melbourne and brisbane), where she was a main conference speaker on the topic of understanding, maximising and leveraging social media in recruitment and employer branding. mariah has also spoken at the social media summit in sydney as well as the rcsa international conference in port douglas. throug
