sppa is the professional home and centre of excellence for social pedagogy, its theory and practice. we hold the standards for occupational proficiency, and the standards of education and training in social pedagogy. as a community of practice, we continue to learn from each other. we support and endorse social pedagogy qualifications and practice in the workforce. our overall aim is to improve the support of children, young people and adults, many of whom live in disadvantaged circumstances or are vulnerable.
