social profit aims to increase the amount of investment capital available for social solutions making inroads into our worlds social problems. we identify social businesses that generate revenue but need funding to scale, and once scale is achieved, can pay back their initial investors. how do we work? social profit constitution stipulates 100% of profits will be re-invested back into the business to support the growth of social business in australia. profits generated by social profit will be used for the following purposes: new social businesses to access necessary support to get investment ready some foundation funding for new start-ups subsidise market rates for professional support through partner providers promote social impact investing awareness throughout the community social profit will provide additional funding and support for social businesses with limited track record, experience, or resourcing and requiring additional support.
