Social Systems Thinkers & Designers

we all exist at the intersection of multiple social systems. and often, social systems are the backbone to the opportunities we have in life, and dictate the quality of our life. any systems come to mind? think education, taxation, pollution, international trade, passports, nationality. and everything in between. any interaction between two agents (liberally defined as any individual or entity), of whom at least one is a social entity (humans/corporations), leads to the creation of a social system. social systems can be the backbone of social progress. they can also be the cause of societal inequality and regress. it is time for us to re-think and re-design our social systems to create systems that value and promote life and equity, and enhance human creativity and foster innovations after satisfying human capabilities*, because there is more-than-enough resources to sustain each life on this earth, human and otherwise, at thriving standards.
