socialactive is an exciting new web app that allows the local public to host or search for sporting or recreational activities in their area. adelaide is rated one of the world’s most livable cities. yet it has a reputation for being boring and many of our young people leave the state. using this information we have created an exciting new social web application that allows the public to meet up with people in their community and participate in fun activities. anyone can host an activity by selecting one of the venues listed in our database, they can specify the number of people they want to participate and the requirements of the activity (equipment, age, skill level etc.). the public can easily find activities in their local area by using our interactive google map locator which shows the icon for each type of activity in their area. members are able to rate hosts and place comments, which will ensure members are joining activities with hosts who organise quality activities.
