let's be together, apart. like this page for updates on social distancing events! founded by a few #friends from #belfast, n. ireland, who want to #stayathome but also be #togetherathome - lots of hashtags, but you get the point! ------------------------------------------------------ we came together on st patrick’s day... not in the pub or at a parade, as we normally would do. instead, a zoom call where we sat, had drinks, played music, shared stories and laughs. at the end of the call, we decided we should open this up to the world and so began the start of our social distancing community (socialdist.co). our mission is simple - to bring people together, apart! whether you’re self-isolating alone in italy or cooped up with your family in the usa, or you’re locked indoors with your partner and their annoying cat in ireland, you are all welcome! we are a community. we are not here to profit. we are to find more ways to help one another through what is most definitely a global c
