the real estate industry, one of the biggest industries in the world, has not experienced a significant change since the .com boom. yes, every agent and their uncle have their listings online, but the apartment-seekers are stuck spending hours a day, for weeks, surfing craigslist, rent.com and the hundreds of other listing sites online. the result is calls and emails for places that no longer exist, were just rented out, or just plain old suck. the pain is only multiplied when there are multiple roommates, sometimes in different parts of the world, trying to come together on this process. this is the end of it. it is time for the renter to have the power that they deserve when finding a place to live! socialrent was created by a few guys who were upset with the system, sick of the lack of innovation, and in need of a solution. when linked up with some industry-ninjas and development-kings, the team was able to create an unbelievable product, with oh so much more unbelievablity to come.
