society for contemporary craft main gallery presenting contemporary art in craft media by international, national and regional artists since 1971, the society for contemporary craft offers cutting edge exhibitions focused on multicultural diversity and non-mainstream art, as well as a range of classes, community outreach programs and a fantastic retail store. exhibitions and family friendly hands-on art activities in a drop-in studio are always free to the public. scc is located at 2100 smallman street in pittsburgh, pa’s strip district. hours are monday through saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. one mellon center satellite gallery in 1990, scc established a satellite exhibition space at one mellon center which is located in downtown pittsburgh. six exhibitions are organized annually in this space. located in the “t” station lobby of one mellon bank center and open daily through midnight. for more information call 412.261.7003 x 26
