the society of engineering at tamiu is a student organization founded in 2007. our goal is to help students, especially in the engineering area, and invite students to study the pre-engineering program or the systems engineering major at tamiu. this academic year, set is recruiting new members who are willing to receive free tutoring, scholarship and internship opportunities, and help with their schedule (graduating or transferring). set members will acquire engineering knowledge and discuss real-life engineering projects. that’s not all! set members will also receive support for their personal growth, make new friends, and accomplish service hours for philanthropic purposes. remember, being part of set is an advantage for future internships or jobs because your resume will show that you have leadership abilities.
