consortium of self published authors working to advance the literary works of other independent writers, self publishers, and illustrators. our goal is to act as an agent of change for independent authors and/or artists by helping to remove the stigma associated with artists who are not commercially published. in addition, we strive to create a combined voice for independent authors and artists to help promote the value of their work in traditional markets. we also strive to help impact legislation that will help independent artists become recognized in the mainstream market. thus, we are progressively working to develop a standard for quality independent work. our core beliefs are founded in the following tenets: independent artists are artists the quality of literary/artistic work is not defined by its commercial backing but by its content
