the society of international law and policy is an academic society of nujs kolkata which aims to create legal awareness about contemporary international issues of legal importance. we seek to develop synergy between law and policy at the international level while recognising that geo-political trends in the transnationals space have impacts at the municipal level. silp has successfully organised several events such as workshops and seminars by eminent scholars on topics which are contemporary and international relevance. in the past, we have hosted luminaries in the field such as lord meghnad desai, paranjoy ghosh thakurta and mr. kishan rana amongst others. we also have a blog which has been considered as one of the top 30 international law blogs on the web. it is the only indian blog to feature on this comprehensive list of the best international law blogs on the internet. we accept submissions at silp@nujs.edu. for any further queries, please feel refer to our submissions and eve
