Society of Materials Science Engineers

the society of material science engineers (smse) is a student run body of the department of mechanical engineering, college of engineering, guindy, anna university. smse comprises of students of the material science and engineering branch and a very supportive faculty, passionate to learn and guide others raise the bar of excellence and all rounded knowledge. smse caters to the students community by organizing lectures, hosting events and workshops to enhance the student's awareness of the recent developments and opportunities in the field of material science and engineering, as well as ensuring students to gain knowledge of various other skills required to excel in a work place. along side regular workshops and lectures, smse also hosts two signature events: intra-collegiate symposium, krysta and national level technical symposium, quanta.
