society of social psychiatry and mental health is a ngo founded in 1986 and has since developed a wide range of activities in all areas related to mental health and also has significantly contributed to the psychiatric reform in greece. the organization primarily seeks to prevent mental disorders, therapeutic assistance for patients in early stages, and the social and vocational rehabilitation of mental illness. the information and services provided by the organization cover a large part of adult psychiatric and child psychiatric needs of residents in areas where we operate, namely, the fokida region and neighboring region fthiotida, evros, thrace, and attica.
