the society of st. vincent de paul detroit is a network of friends committed to growing in holiness through personal relationships with and service to people in need, building a more just world. for more than 130 years, st. vincent de paul detroit has been privileged to provide critical support to residents of southeastern michigan who are hurting. working with our partners, donors and volunteers, st vincent de paul helps over 300,000 people each year by providing to those in need. through our person to person, hands-on charitable work, we’ve been a vital part of the community, providing food, shelter, utility assistance and more to our neighbors who need us most. our summer camp, thrift stores, donation centers and nutrition center support our long term strategic efforts to eliminate poverty and suffering in our community. no act of charity is unknown to st vincent de paul.
