the society for participatory integrated development (spid) is a non-governmental organization. it was established by a group of committed, like-minded social workers and volunteers in 2004 under the indian societies registration act, xxi of 1860. we are an operational ngo, meaning we plan and carry out boots-on-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. this requires a great deal of careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project. at spid, we are committed to making organized organizations all lead to the betterment of marginalized, deprived, underprivileged, suffering, and vulnerable people of all caste and creeds. by providing them with a platform to overcome their problems and fulfill their dreams, big or small, and, more importantly, to live a dignified life and become better citizens of this world. our network is broad and robust, stretching across parts of delhi and uttar pradesh, rural and urban. spid believes in holistic development and in a focu
