society speakers is a not for profit toastmasters club with a particular emphasis on getting its members out speaking in the real world! we offer all the benefits of a toastmasters club - a proven educational programme, a friendly place to practice and receive constructive feedback. once you feel ready you can then get extra support enabling you to prepare, practice and perfect a speech on a topics of your choice. you are then ready to deliver it to a real audience and start to make a difference! we welcome anyone to come along as a guest to see what our meetings are like. whether you are a nervous newcomer to public speaking or a seasoned 'pro' you can learn and develop at society speakers. most guests come by themselves and are always made to feel welcome. you don't have to speak if you don't want to but many guests do. even if it's just to introduce yourself for a few seconds you will have made the first step to becoming a more confident speaker! we meet every 1st & 3rd wednesday
