Socio-Cultural Community Center Velingrad

socio-cultural center "father paisiy - 1893" is a self-governing bulgarian socio-cultural community association. it was established in 1893 and since 1931 it has its own massive building in the center of velingrad. nowadays our socio-cultural center houses a hall with 210 seats, a stage, dressing rooms, 3 rooms for a library with over 50,000 registration units, an information center. our mission is to give the local community access to culture and to meet its needs to cultivate and disseminate of inner values and informal education. we work to safeguard the local customs and traditions and to develop cultural and civic activities. we put much effort to enrich the cultural life with our own amateur groups and guest performances on our stage. our socio-cultural center brings together the tradition and the new age. it is a place of informal learning activities and rich cultural life...
