the eastern ontario (eo) cfdc network is a not for profit organization with a mandate of furthering economic prosperity, employment and a better quality of life in eastern ontario. made possible through the support of the federal economic development agency of south ontario (feddev ontario) under the prosperity initiative. the eo cfdc network is responsible for the administration of the sofii loan fund. the primary purpose of the southern ontario fund for investment in innovation (sofii) is to support the growth of knowledge-based small and medium size enterprises (smes) through the provision of loans addressing all aspects of innovative sme growth challenges. the focus is on companies introducing new products, new services, new technologies or new processes to the marketplace.. the objective is to foster the creation of jobs in smes and improve the competitiveness, market penetration/share and stability of participating companies.sofii has been developed as a long-term sustainable fun
