soft books, s.r.o. published since 1990 czech legislation texts. we were focused on consolidated texts of czech legal acts in the whole range. we offered both off-line (cd edition) an on-line (prepaid web service) fulltext systems. our high-quality text database of legislation wer administered by the editors and continuously updated. history: soft books was founded in 1990 – it was in prague, czech republic (at that time czechoslovakia) by me - programmer roman plischke - as privately held company. in 1997 it was transformed in "spol. s r.o." (ie ltd. or plc.), 100% owned by me. from the beginning, we have been devoting ourselves to the electronic publication of legal texts. the world around us has changed, just like our products. from dos products distributed on floppy disks through windows and cds to the internet; from turbo pascal through visual basic to c#, .net and sql server. likewise, the database of our consolidated texts was gradually expanding - from the first dozens of texts
