soilchild is an alternative development model. the model is based on a story of poverty, disadvantage and violence which instilled determination and will to escape and aim for something different and positive. the key vision is creating a positive learning environment where people have the opportunity to access resources and gain knowledge. to learn and re-learn stories, ideas, values, customs and beliefs which are often taken for granted. and to use knowledge in dreaming and building flourishing lives in order to escape poverty in rural and urban settlements of papua new guinea.
