soilcquest is developing a simple-to-use, cost-effective biotechnologies that allow farmers to draw down excess carbon from the atmosphere to deposit long-term in their soils for resilience and agricultural gains. the technology is based around endophytic microbes. these microbes live in a mutualistic relationship with plants and convert plant carbon, derived from the atmosphere, into long-term recalcitrant soil carbon. delivering microbial carbon capture and storage. the technology is a seed dressing and does not require any major management changes on behalf of the farmer. as such it is easy to adopt at any scale, in any crop, anywhere in the world. this enables the technology to be quickly deployable at scale to facilitate large-scale carbon sequestration outcomes.
