Solace for the Children, Inc. - Los Angeles

solace for the children is a 501(c)3 organization made up of all volunteers that provides medical, dental and optical care to needy children from afghanistan. this is primarily done through a summer hosting program in which young children (ages 7-13) from afghanistan come to the united states and stay with an american host family. solace for the children has a network of doctors who donate their time and services to these children. these are at-risk children who have little or no opportunity to receive even basic health care, and many are in need of significant medical attention. the primary goal of solace is to promote peace between the us and afghanistan, we use medical care as a tool in this peace-building process.
