during the pandemic lockdown of 2020 a series of zoom calls, emails and whatsapp messages took place between a machine learning programmer in spain and a business development executive in london. these communications were a result of a simple question that had arisen between these two friends which proved to be anything but simple in providing an answer. using the knowledge of the businessman and the abilities of the programmer, an informal research and development project commenced to find a method to define the question, set down a process and establish a set of rules, (along with a series of procedural and financial calculations), that would formulate an algorithm capable of breaking down the elements that made any business successful and apply them to early stage businesses and conceptual business ideas. the size of such an undertaking became apparent with early results showing different levels of simplicity and complexity. the amount of information available, and seemingly neces
