solar computer systems limited has been established since april 2000. originally funded by the pybt ( prince’s youth business trust ). solar is a rare breed of retailer within the it industry, run on a very basic idea, incorporating traditional system builds with attention to detail and forward thinking build techniques. at solar we aim to build generic computer systems to out perform mass produced equivalent systems with longevity, reliability and upgrade ability in mind. this is achieved by numerous hours of product research and testing of both hardware and software. since opening in april 2000 solar has added many partnerships to it’s portfolio, these include becoming a gigabyte authorised reseller, a disklabs partner ( www.disklabs.com ) and a bunker backup partner (www.bunkerbackup.com) in addition to this solar is also a virgin broadband reseller and a microsoft oem system builder.
