the solar design studio is a continuation of bob solger’s “sustainability quest” which began in 2003 with the creation of a small business, known as the energy savings store. the company became the largest and most experienced solar and wind solutions provider in missouri and kansas, completing more than 185 projects representing more than 1 mw of installed renewable energy systems capability. today, the solar design studio provides “solutions oriented” solar business consulting services to solar integrators and international solar energy equipment manufacturers. currently, we are engaged assisting an international client establish a solar hvac distribution and manufacturing business in the kansas city, mo area. we also provide engineering, design and training services to architects, engineers and commercial building owners, as well as private and institutional clients. as of the end of 2016, we have completed more than 2000 projects.
