Solar Devils at Asu

introducing the solar devils, a new club at arizona state university that is dedicated to engineering and renewable energy. the purpose of the solar devils is to design, build and compete in the american solar challenge. as a club, the solar devils focus on hands-on learning and experimentation. our members are a diverse group of students with a passion for engineering and the environment. we come from various backgrounds, including mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering, as well as sustainable energy and business. the american solar challenge is a biennial event that spans multiple states and thousands of miles. it is a test of endurance, design, and teamwork, as teams must navigate through challenging terrain and varying weather conditions. the competition also includes a technical inspection, where teams must demonstrate that their vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
