Solar Water Relief - Bahamas

our mission: the mission of solar water relief is to deliver clean water and electricity to persons affected by natural disaster - without using fossil fuels, creating plastic bottle waste, or generating harmful emissions. we will achieve this mission by using mobile, solar powered generators with integrated reverse osmosis systems to convert salt or brackish water to potable water. overview: the need for clean energy and water is great, and growing - especially in remote or island communities affected by natural disasters and climate change. currently, disaster response includes delivering large shipments of water in plastic bottles, and gas generators to provide electricity. impacts include high fuel and shipping costs, harmful emissions, dependence on fuel supplies, and plastic pollution. better approaches are needed. we will use solar generators with reverse osmosis systems to accomplish our mission. who we are: we are a collection of people, teaming with other organizations,
