solar sport one is the initiator of several solar boat races in the netherlands and abroad (in the near future). we aim to to involve young people in the race to accelerate energy transition, technology development and sustainable team development. in order to maintain this development it is crucial to find that challenge in a race with ever new challenges. this goes into clear steps, giving space for new tension and new innovations with the ability to compete with affordable, innovative solar boats. solar sport one aims to organize the race from the racers point of view and we strongly emphasize the improvement of expertise in the fields of innovation and scientific developments for all teams. by setting new standards we challenge the solar boat teams to adjust to limitations and optimize their creativity. furthermore we arrange the event and accommodation to attract sponsors and audience so the solar community can expand, startups can be established and technical students can be conn
