solartechno europe b.v. is developing autonomous (i.e. off grid) electrical power supply systems and is active in the distribution of on grid photovoltaic components (inverters and modules). solartechno operates mainly in europe but is starting his sales activities for off grid systems in the caraibbean, south america, africa and the middle east. the company opened under the name solar advies in october 2004. in august 2009 solar advies activities were put under today's solartechno europe b.v. a limited liability company. from 2014 solartechno europe bv is also active in the development of a new generation of off grid products and electricity storage systems which take advantage of the latest developments and price reduction of the lithium battery technology. product development is made in collaboration with the european space agency under the esa knowledge transfer program and in collaboration with the dutch technical university tu delft. marco ghirardello is the company chief executi
