solas counselling services can offer you a safe, private & non-judgemental place to talk about what is causing you distress & help you try find a solution to these problems and worries. at solas counselling services we believe that every client has different needs and so deserve a different and tailored approach. traditional therapy may focus on a single therapy approach but this does not always suit every client. at solas we offer a varied and integrated approach. these approaches can include a mixture of cognitive behavioural therapy (cbt), person centred, psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, gestalt etc. sessions can last for 50 to 60 minutes or slightly less for clients under 18 years of age. the number of sessions each client attends can vary but generally sessions are on weekly basis for six to eight weeks and after can be every second week to once a month depending on each client’s own specific needs. clients can attend therapy for as long as they feel the need. waiting time is minima
