solas text and design: since 1998, we have provided publishers in australia and overseas with a wide range of services, from writing, editing and designing to concept dev­elopment and project management. our custom­ers include leading australian and worldwide international book publishers and packagers. text: scott forbes after completing an ma in italian and french and an mphil in publishing studies, scott became an editor at harpercollins (glasgow) and then a senior editor at larousse (edinburgh and paris). since moving to australia in 1993, he has worked as an editor, writer and project manager for major publishers. he was also a course convenor on the macquarie university postgraduate diploma in editing and publishing. design: cathy campbell following an ma in arts, cathy gained experience with a range of publishers and design agencies, then became design manager at george outram and company, a leading magazine publisher in scotland. after moving to australia in 1993, she work
