Sole Ryeders & Friends

founded in 2007, sole ryeders & friends is a volunteer-driven organization based in westchester county, new york which supports health and wellness by: fundraising and awarding grants through partnerships with local cancer-related, health and wellness programs promoting health awareness and prevention through educational presentations and sharing current health-related information providing resources and emotional support for community members faced with serious illness the community benefits from these efforts through increased access to health & wellness programs and an extensive network of people committed to improving and saving lives. the name ‘sole ryeders’ stems from our founding members (who are residents of rye, new york) and from our annual participation in the 39 mile avon walk for breast cancer. our group, which has included over 150 passionate and dedicated individuals since inception, has raised more than $750,000.
