solfood farms is a calgary based social enterprise that marries urban farming with community development and social equity initiatives. solfood utilizes controlled environment agriculture projects, located in urban settings, to cultivate crops that consumers are demanding, shorten supply chains, and build resilience into our local food system. we are also committed to addressing food insecurity and food equity through the collaborative relationships that have been built with community organizations and non-profits addressing food emergency and needs in our city, allowing for our premium produce to provide benefit to those who are most vulnerable.
