why sbf for 15 years i’ve worked to build a large fitness company, not big by the count of square footage or how much equipment we have, but big by how many people choose to come here. how many people actually make sbf their home a few hours a week. they make sacrifices to be here (time away from family, time away from work, time away from other activities and a financial sacrifice). people can workout anywhere, they could find a cheaper gym or workout for free in their garage, but they don’t. they come here! it’s not because of me, it’s not because of my facility, it’s because of our community. it’s because of the friendships they’ve developed here. we’ve created an environment that makes people feel safe. safe to take risks, safe to make friends, and safe to make mistakes. we warm up together, we workout together, and we socialize together. it’s this environment that creates long term results. it’s this environment that makes us push through the pain, and then wake up early and do it
