solid concrete is a design studio in plettenberg bay producing beautifully made cast sculptural and textural concrete products designed by laura jamieson chatz.laura is making a name for herself by adding a unique design aesthetic to an otherwise industrial material. her approach to design is simplicity in form and function, remaining true to the material. there is a definite sense of crafted detail and a considered finish in her work, which makes meaningful connections with people. her range of products including pots, bowls, dishes, light shades, wall tiles and many more, which are represented in traditional grey, white and charcoal. laura is open to collaborate and happy to design custom products and ranges.
