Solidago Farm

established in 2014, solidago farm is a veganic urban farm on bio-intensive farming principles, evaluating and adapting heirloom, open-pollinated (and occasionally hybrid) vegetables, fruits, and grains to our local clime, and to save veganic seed for fellow veganic farmers and gardeners. the farm is named for our beautiful, prolific, and native goldenrods, solidago means to “strengthen” or “make whole.” my goal with solidago farm is to strengthen our local food offerings with a wholesome diet devoid of animal manure, blood meal, and fish meal and to promote biodiversity of wildlife, native plants, and crops. to that end, i am currently looking for a place to restart the farm and have the ability to scale up to a whole diet csa and a veganic seed company.
