solidaritynow was established in 2013 by the philanthropic fund the open society foundations (osf) to mitigate the damage engendered by the humanitarian crisis that greece is currently enduring. by providing services to both the local population and the displaced people, our goal is to contribute to the recovery of the vision of a strong europe based on solidarity and open values. solidaritynow priorities are summed-up as follows: human rights and social justice our main priority is the defense of rights at all levels and in all directions in order to strengthen social cohesion. protection of vulnerable groups’ rights only through collective effort we will be able to exercise the basic rights of vulnerable or marginalized groups, so everyone feels and operates as an equal member of a cohesive society. connecting youth with educational programs and job market the recorded high youth unemployment in the country and the growing phenomenon of migration of skilled scientific are undermining
