Solomon Survival

after watching a video by ron hood featuring blacksmith tai goo, i became very interested in knife making and decided that i was going to learn how to design and make survival knives (forging and stock reduction). i decided the best way for me to learn about knives, is to sell them and interact with customers to find out exactly what makes a good knife. i knew there were already great companies who sold budget knives and a lot of highly talented custom knife makers; i didn't pretend, that i could do a better job than them. i founded solomon survival to feature non-custom handmade survival knives. after some research i settled on samuel staniforth ltd and a range of knives made by a wright & son ltd. our range has since expanded to feature other highly regarded handmade knives, such as fallkniven, helle, esee and gerber. a few months after setting up solomon knives, i met survival expert and protege of john "lofty" wiseman; chris caine. a few chats later and i was building chris's new w
