solomon’s porch is a progressive christian community open to all people that meets online and in several outdoor locations in minneapolis, mn. founded by former pastor doug pagitt and now led by pastor nikki frontz, solomon’s porch started as a church and registered nonprofit organization in 2000. solomon’s porch is a community seeking to live the dreams and love of god in the way of jesus as a benefit and blessing to the world. as part of this effort, we maintain a meeting space in south minneapolis but we are very aware that our community exists wherever the people of solomon’s porch find themselves. the people of our community are from varied backgrounds and hold a wide-range of perspectives, and all are welcome. we welcome you to join us in person at any of our gatherings, meals or conversations. we know that entering into an active and engaged community can be intimidating, but we sincerely value new perspectives and voices in our community and hope that you will add yours. t
